ELIZZA is an Experimental Artist using abstract approaches and multi-media
techniques to explore, unearth and release deep-rooted emotions as part of a
cathartic process for the cleansing or rebirth of the self.

ELIZZA's practice centers on drawings, masks, prints and performances with ritualistic overtones.They create their art with mediums of soft pastels, icing, sweets and old bed sheets. Their themes center on biographical insights and the abject to forge or reach subjective truths for the self and identity to be reclaimed or reborn.
 

ELIZZA builds upon the Third Wave Feminist and other movements by
challenging identity, the body and the relationships with power. Influences are drawn from Bourgeois, Emin, Kristeva, Freud and Björk.
